Why is this happening?

The change is part of a Government initiative called OpenWater which has been developed to introduce competition and choice in the water industry.

From April 2017, you will start to receive separate bills, one for water and one for wastewater. Time is precious; so why spend extra time dealing with two retailers and two bills when you can deal with just one?
